Reaching the Intangible

On both days after an introduction to MIND THE DANCE, REFLEX Europe and idocde we went into movement.

Moving and Perception - following with hands, providing material to work with for the movement - in a way documenting already - follow own curiosity - witnessing

Exploring hands touching the floor, resistance and weight distribution. Further exploring the tone in the body with arms, holding and letting fall in partner work. From that developed little movement sequences that were shared and taught and showed to the group.

Sharings and discussion revolved around the topic of documentation, thoughts around the distractiveness of documentation, the intention and meaning of documentation, empowerment and "living documentation", witnessing the body of oneself or other. Also talks about repertory/choreography documenting.
