ponderosa/ PORCH:We are intelligent bodies who are inspired by the art of improvisation and performance. These simple perceptions as artistic human beings is highly valued and a teaching for us all. WE focused on the how to ........ an approach of HOW to document and list questions about where are we in improvisational dance today. We find some of our nonstructural improvisational practices and performance moments unable to be put into a written and or verbal form of communication. This was a search for a way to begin. What you see are the small versions, small pieces of art related to a very non structured improvisational weekend around the teaching of dance improvisation. It is not complete, it is non linear. We feel this still represents some of our experiences of how we make dance and understand it's repercussions.

Hallo Aaron,
I would like to propose 2 points of view:
- it took very long time ro download your file (too long time). We could ask Amir, if there is a possibility to integrate the film directly in the website. With the system of download we risk, that the people doen't take the time to wate for the film.
- it would be helpfull for me to know the movement-task and the context of the improvisation. Without any contextualisation my interest to look just to an improvisation stays very optional and arbitrary.
with friendly regards
Gitta
